Who we are
The site is built and maintained by a small UK-based team with backgrounds in software and fixed-income investing. Our editorial content is produced and reviewed by the Gilt Calculator Editorial Team, which is responsible for the accuracy of the guides and analysis published on this site.
How our figures are produced
Gilt prices are refreshed every 15 minutes during market hours. Every yield and return figure on the site is calculated from those prices by the same engine, following the Debt Management Office's conventions and checked against its published figures. There are no hand-picked or invented numbers. Our methodology page shows exactly how each figure is worked out.
